Vol. 6, Issue 2: Editorial

Welcome back, dear readers to yet another issue of Artwolfe Zine. We are all very busy scrambling and hustling to keep producing issues but inevitably they keep arriving and it’s a huge comfort to write this editorial for this particular issue, which is all about photography…

In this issue you’ll find an interview with photographer Kristin Capp, discussing her recent work and experiences teaching photography in Namibia. We also have Masiyaleti Mbewe discussing the work and personality of Namibian photographer, Vilho Nuuyoma Nuumbala.

Elize van Huyssteen also gives us a rundown of the Annual Visual Art Museum Program (AVAMP), the recent photography exhibition up at the National Gallery. And finally take a look at photographer Marita van Rooyen’s piece as she shares with us some thoughts on her work and on photography.

We haven’t forgotten out printed version of Volume 5 which will be coming out next week! Hooray! A huge thank you to guest designer Tanya Turipamwe Stroh and Rob Narciso for designing this beautiful Volume which you will be able to find for sale at the National Art Gallery and Orumbonde Books. Don’t forget to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to stay in the loop!
